Chemical Crossroads
Agrarian Transitions, Pesticide Controversies and International Governance, 1940s-1970s
Chemical Crossroads is a project funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (February 2025- February 2028). Based at the Geneva Graduate Institute, the project examines the history of pesticide use and the way UN organisations understood and contributed to scientific debates about the health and ecological risks of pesticide exposure in agriculture and forestry.
